The ocean covers the largest area of the Earth, is incredibly beautiful, and plays a crucial role in stabilizing the Earth's natural climate. It nurtures life on Earth, but various types of waste have harmed it. Various types of biodegradable and non-biodegradable plastic waste have accumulated in the ocean, disrupting the food chain. We still need to find food in the ocean, and the overall health of the marine ecosystem directly impacts us. Protecting the ocean is a responsibility and obligation we must shoulder.

Inresst takes concrete action to invite various industries in different regions and countries to collect discarded fishing nets  and, through a series of processing steps, transform these nets, which would otherwise harm the ocean, into products useful to humankind.

The discarded fishing nets has finally remade into many popular plastic materials, such as PP (Polypropylene), PA (Polyamide), and PE (Polyethylene). This process can also contribute to plastic-reduction.
